ICP-AES Simulator

This software provides a virtual experimental environment for students to learn the basics of ICP-AES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry) and ICP-MS (Mass Spectrometry).

It also provides a tool for instructors to evaluate how the students understood the spectra, based on the results that students get with "samples" (files actually) provided by the instructor.
The simulation is realistic in two ways: the spectra themselves simulate many of the features of a real spectrum and certain elements will cause matrix effects.

This makes for an interesting and realistic environment for problem solving at either the elementary or advanced level.
